What does a TV sender do?
CTV sender reciever systems are used to connect audio or video systems from a sender (ie. foxtel box) to a reciever (another TV say) in another room without using cables or purchasing another foxtel box and installation charges.
Are LCD Screen better than Plasma?
This is a long and continuing argument that has been going on for years. The truth is there is no winner or loser per say. Plasma has been losing ground to it's much cheaper LCD/LED rivals simply due to costs. But if you view them side by side, some will tell you that Plasma is richer and more vibrant in colour and range. It came with a price, power and weight penalty but some say it is worth it. Panasonic, the plasma leader is phasing out the plasma lineand switching to other more profitable technology.
The new kid on the block is OLED. OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology sacrifices backlighting for an ultra-thin display, offering bright images with a low power, high contrast ratio and fast response time for sports or on-screen action.
Sometimes call Ultra HD or 4k, this will likely be the dominat screen in the future but the price may make it only capture a small portion of the intended market. LED screens are still the best value but beware the cheapie ones are just that -Cheap. and it's because they use cheap components that WILL fail sooner than later.
What is Chromecast?
Chromecast is a thumb-sized media streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your TV. Simply use an Android phone, tablet, iPhone®, iPad®, Mac® or Windows® laptop, or Chromebook to cast your favourite entertainment and apps right onto the big screen.
